[Bilateral simultaneous spontaneous and subcutaneous rupture of the quadriceps tendons].

Abstract

A bilateral, simultaneous, spontaneous and subcutaneous rupture of the quadriceps tendon is a very rare event. The pathogenesis, diagnosis, therapy and the postoperative result are discussed in form of a case report.
