Abstract
The two enantiomers and the racemic form of bethanechol have been synthesized and their muscarinic activities evaluated on isolated rat jejunum. The stereoselectivity observed for bethanechol parallels that previously reported for acetyl-beta-methylcholine and muscarine on the same biological object.Entities:
