[The time factor in the treatment of injuries caused by spray pistols (author's transl)].

The article proves on the basis of 40 cases that surgery following spray pistol injuries yields good results if it is initiated as early as possible, it is also shown that the prognosis worsens markedly with every hour that is wasted subsequent to the injury.
