Simultaneous in situ squamous cell carcinoma and microinvasive adenocarcinoma of the cervix.

B M Wolk, W Kime, V Albites.

Abstract

A case of simultaneously occurring carcinoma in situ of the cervix, and adenocarcinoma of the endometrium is presented. The diagnosis was made by examination of the pathological specimen, but was suspected pre-operatively because of Pap smear findings. A review of the recent literature is discussed.
