Abstract
The authors review the operative techniques and surgical results in 43 cases of giant aneurysm. Twenty-seven cases were treated by direct surgical attack. In 33 cases the initial symptoms were due to subarachnoid hemorrhage and in 10 cases the initial symptoms were due to pressure phenomena. In the 27 cases of direct surgical attack the operative mortality was 22% and the morbidity was 37%.Entities:
