P J Meeder, K Weise, A Wentzensen.

Abstract

Dislocated fractures of the humeral head are problematic injuries. The result of an operative therapy of 30 adult patients are given. Intra- and postoperative complications, advantages and disadvantages are pointed out. Traumatic and posttraumatic damages of the cartilage, partial necrosis of humeral head and the combination with lesions of the soft tissues and nerves are the limits to a good functional result.
