Abstract
Four cases of hepatocellular carcinoma treated by transcatheter arterial embolization have been reported. In three patients, the bleeding stopped completely after the procedure. Embolized tumor appeared to be necrotized in two cases. Transcatheter arterial embolization should be considered the treatment of choice for the emergency therapy of ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma.Entities:
