Abstract
A patient with dyspnea, skin rash, hypoxemia and mononucleosis was shown to have acute cytomegalovirus infection. The chest X-ray was normal, but the lung scan showed perfusion defects. Although pulmonary embolism cannot be ruled out, it seems likely that the CMV infection was responsible for the abnormalities observed.Entities:
