Glioblastoma of the cerebellum in children and adolescents. Case report and review of the literature.

P M Georges, J Noterman, J Flament-Durand.

Abstract

Cerebellar gliomas are the most frequently occurring tumors of the central nervous system in children and adolescents, but glioblastomas are definitely rare in cerebellum before twenty years of age. Only two histologically proven cases have been published in the international literature (1,2). We describe one new case and give a review of the literature.
