Congenital metacarpal malformation.

Abstract

The findings in two brothers are described in whom there are similar isolated defects of development of their fifth metacarpal bones with normal fingers. There is no evidence of further skeletal, or biochemical abnormality. A mutational genetic basis is postulated.
