Notification of Sarcoidosis in Denmark--the "true" incidence?

Although the central nation-wide registration of sarcoidosis in Denmark has provided valuable informations, the estimation of incidence is too low because a) far from all cases are detected owing to the often silent and transient nature of the disease and b) there has been a significant deficiency in the notification of known cases.
