Retention of urine in the neonate possibly due to anticonvulsant drugs.

M I Levene.

Abstract

Three cases of neonatal acute retention were associated with convulsions and heavy sedation. Inhibition of micturition may be due to diazepam-induced depression of the nervous system, in association with other anticonvulsants drugs.
