Abstract
A high frequency of chromosomal breakage and rearrangement has been found in fibroblasts treated with extracts of allogeneic human lymphocytes. The fact that these changes were not observed when extracts of autologous lymphocytes were tested indicates that mechanisms involving self-recognition are operative. Abnormalities, such as chromosome lagging and bridges, occurring in anaphase were also served.Entities:
