Protein content and osmotic behavior of isolated fat cells.

J J Lech, D N Calvert.

Abstract

Fat cells isolated by a modification of the method of Rodbell were washed in protein-free buffers, which allowed determination of their protein content. Osmotic behavior and response to norepinephrine and insulin were unimpaired.
