Thrombolytic treatment for thrombotic complication of valve prosthesis after tricuspid valve replacement. A case report.

M V Inberg, T Havia, M Arstila.

Abstract

The report of a case, in which thrombolytic treatment with streptokinase was twice used successfully in a 14-year-old girl, 23 and 27 months after tricuspid valve replacement with a Björk-Shiley tilting disc valve prosthesis, is presented. The patient had earlier undergone a thrombectomy.
