Comparative efficacy of propranolol and chlordiazepoxide in alcohol withdrawal.

Abstract

Propranolol alone was more effective than either chlordiazepoxide or a combination of chlordiazepoxide and propranolol in alleviating the symptoms of the alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
