Abstract
Two cases of life-threatening ventricular arrhythmia (torsade de pointes) due to chronic mild hypokalaemia, caused by hyperaldosteronism and familial periodic paralysis are described. Correction of the hypokalaemia, supplemented by mexiletine, controlled the arrhythmias.Entities:
