Abstract
A double-blind trial in twenty-nine patients with rosacea showed that, after 6 weeks' treatment, metronidazole was therapeutically superior to a placebo (P less than 0-02). It was particularly effective against papules and pustules. The mode of action of metronidazole and other antibiotics in rosacea is not known.Entities:
