Deoxyribonucleic acid homology among the fruiting myxobacteria.

J L Johnson, E J Ordal.

Abstract

Deoxyribonucleic acid similarities were determined by competition experiments. The several strains of fruiting myxobacteria tested showed from 23 to 89% homology with the reference strains Myxococcus xanthus (FB) and M. fulvus (M6).
