[Diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of solitary extramedullary plasmacytomas (author's transl)].

The rare solitary extramedullary Plasmacytoma is discussed and compared to the more common disseminated form. Based upon the pertinent literature, some diagnostic problems, clinical and pathological features as well as prognostic and therapeutic aspects of the solitary lesion in the ENT field are reviewed. In connection to one personal case, the authors analyze Trotter's Median Labiomandibular Glossotomy.
