Abstract
Severe heart failure in a one-month-old infant is described, apparently due to the administration of cows' milk in the region of 300 ml/kg per day. There was also pronounced hypocalcaemia. The infant responded rapidly to treatment with no evidence of intrinsic heart disease.Entities:
