Abstract
Penicillamine therapy was associated with the development of thrombohemolytic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) in a 23-year-old woman. The immunological and hematological toxicity of penicillamine, as well as the occurrence of TTP with parent penicillin compounds, indicates a probable etiological role of this drug.Entities:
