Strychnine and the inhibition of previous performance.

Abstract

The injection of strychnine sulfate into rats inhibits a hurdle-crossing response. Hurdle-crossing tends to decrease with increasing strychnine doses. The data are interpreted as being consistent with consolidation theory.
