Abstract
Evidence obtained by means of ultrastructural and immunological methods, reveals actin filaments within the cytoplasm of tenocytes. Actin filaments suggest that the tendon cells have contractile activity, and may play an important part in the physiology of muscle tendon fiber interactions.Mesh:
