[A highly sensitive determination of immunoglobulin G and M with sensibilized latex particles (author's transl)].

Latexparticles, sensitized with heavy chain specific anti-human IgG and IgM, were used for the detection of IgG and IgM in sera of adults and newborn infants. Heat-inactivated sera showed an IgG-reactive component of high density near the band of the IgM after centrifugation in a sucrose gradient. The test is specific and highly sensitive.
