Abstract
Alloisoleucine, prepared from a mixture of racemic isoleucine-alloisoleucine diastereoisomers, can be heavily contaminated with isoleucine if the recrystallization of acetyl-dl-alloisoleucine is controlled by melting point only. Two commercial specimens were found to be thus contaminated.Entities:
