Abstract
A classification of fractures of the nasal skeleton is presented, based on both the pattern of impact and the subsequent damage sustained. The fractures are broadly classed into those resulting from lateral force and those from frontal impact. The latter are further subdivided into three levels of planes of injury; knowledge of the applied anatomy of these injuries is shown to be essential. The clinical findings and the management of each group are discussed.Entities:
