Abstract
The sugar hydroxyl of a methoxytrityldeoxyribonucleoside reacts with a methoxytrityldeoxyribonucleoside phosphorofluoridate in dimethylformamide and potassium tertiary butoxide to yield the protected dinucleoside monophosphate. The reaction is fast and specific, and is used in a stepwise synthesis to prepare trinucleoside diphosphate and tetranucleoside triphosphate.Entities:
