[Traffic noise: estimation of discomfort in Geneva and in Scandinavian countries].

Abstract

Annoyance among persons exposed to traffic noise has been studied using an interview technique. Results show a better correlation between annoyance and the number of heavy vehicles between 5-10 p.m. than the LEq values. The same reactions were measured in Geneva and Scandinavia.
