Bursal osteochondromatosis: a case report.

Abstract

True osteochondromatosis in bursae not in communication with joint cavities is rare and occurred overlying a femoral exostosis in a 35-year-old man. The original cartilage nodules were converted to bone through the process of enchondral ossification.
