The management of patients with malignant lymphoma.

J J Stein.

Abstract

The prognosis of patients with malignant lymphoma discovered in the localized state and adequately treated is excellent. The prognosis for patients with malignant lymphoma, in general, is much more favorable than is generally recognized. Radiation therapy is the treatment of choice for localized malignant lymphoma. Radiation therapy and chemotherapy can produce excellent palliation in patients with advanced disease and long-term survival in many of them.
