[Orthophorization. The binocular position of the eyes after a Kestenbaum operation (author's transl)].

R A Crone.

Abstract

Orthophorization is a slow mechanism that compensates disturbances in the binocular eye position. Normal binocular vision is a prerequisite. Because of orthophorization patients who have undergone a Kestenbaum operation for ocular torticollis remain orthophoric postoperatively.
