Abstract
Ferredoxin was isolated from individual Leucaena glauca trees, and the distribution of amino acids at three of the four sites of sequence heterogeneity was determined. The results indicated that the most probable causes of the observed microheterogeneity are the presence of either nonallelic nuclear genes or differing chloroplast genes, and also ambiguity in translation of the genetic code.Entities:
