Intersex conditions masquerading as simple hypospadias.

D Aarskog.

Abstract

The results of experimental embryology indicate that hypospadias may result from deficient fetal testicular function. In view of these findings it seemed of interest to study hypospadic patients with special reference to pathogenetic mechanisms which might have interfered with testicular differentiation or function or both during fetal life.
