Abstract
The cerebrospinal fluid of five ethanol-intoxicated alcoholics was found to contain only barely detectable (0--5 microM) concentrations of acetaldehyde, thus questioning its frequently advocated contribution to intoxication, dependence and other central ethanol effects.Entities:
