Abstract
Because the older population will increase in the next several decades, the number of elderly alcoholics will grow. The author presents a review of research on alcoholism among the aged and concludes that social workers should focus their future research on identification and diagnosis of elderly alcoholics and effective methods of treatment.Entities:
