Abstract
1. Gelatin specific proteinase (gelatinase) exists in human leucocytes extracts mainly in a latent form. 2. It is activated by different proteinases as well as by some chemicals (urea, NaSCN, HgCl2). 3. Non-proteolytic activation of latent gelatinase and the decreasing of its molecular weight associated with it strongly suggests that it is an enzyme-inhibitor complex.Entities:
