Abstract
Paralysis of divergence was observed in an adult with membranous aqueductal stenosis. This association has not previously been reported, although the clinical syndrome of divergence paralysis has been described in several other neurologic disorders, which are reviewed. Recognition of the clinical syndrome of paralysis of divergence is important, since it may occur as an early sign of increased intracranial pressure and since it has been observed in several conditions that are amenable to treatment.Entities:
