Abstract
A trial of the antispastic drug baclofen was made in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Some patients noted reduction of tonus and spasticity; but others had no benefit, nor was the course of the disease altered by long-term administration of baclofen. No major side effects occurred.Entities:
