Myopathy in association with primary hyperaldosteronism.

Abstract

We report a patient presenting with a proximal myopathy in association with primary hyperaldosteronism (Conn's syndrome). The possible factors concerned in the inter-relationship of these two conditions are discussed, with particular reference to the influence of potassium depletion.
