Abstract
Hepatitis-associated antigen can be detected within 2 hours by using an electrophoretic technique and cellulose acetate membranes saturated with antibody. The speed of the technique now allows testing of blood intended for transfusion on the day of collection, and the sensitivity of the method compares favorably with standard immunodiffusion.Entities:
