Abstract
The embryology of the hip joint has been studied in a series of 32 embryos. The formation of the skeletal elements together with the capsule, glenoid, acetabular ligament, and ligamentum teres is followed until the definitive form is present. The congruity of the hip joint is established as soon as the joint cavity is formed.Entities:
