Forensic attitudes in the delivery of mental health care in Ghana.

This is a brief report on the Forensic attitudes in the Delivery of Mental Health Care in Ghana. The now outmoded provisions of the Lunatic Asylum Ordinance are discussed, and a forward looking approach to our forensic attitudes suggested. The future role of the voluntary system of admission is brought into focus and its present popularity supported by statistical evidence.
