Abstract
The liver mitochondrial DNA biosynthesis was found to be enhanced in adrenalectomized rats. Cortisol administration to adrenalectomized rats caused a decrease of the liver mitochondrial DNA biosynthesis. Sedimentation analysis of the mitochondrial DNA in CsCl--EtBr gradient has demonstrated that 3H-thymidine incorporation into the mictochondrial DNA increased mainly in the "open circular" molecules fraction.Entities:
