Abstract
Injection of lyophilized Candida albicans or C. parapsilosis cells induced amyloidosis in outbred CFW mice. The disease process was irreversible, and a significant number of animals died of systemic amyloidosis within 400 days after the last treatment. The techniques described may represent a model system for the study of systemic amyloidosis.Entities:
