Laryngeal abscess.

J E Clemons, W Portilla.

Abstract

The laryngeal abscess is an uncommon lesion since the onset of the antibiotic era. A review of the literature failed to find any recent articles on abscess of the larynx. Three case histories of the laryngeal abscess, all of which progressed to rapid airway obstruction and required emergency tracheotomy, are presented.
