Abstract
The intrinsic factor content of Berkefeld-filtered human gastric juice has been studied. This appears to vary with the pH at which filtration is carried out and also between individual filters. Significant losses of intrinsic factor may result from filtration and complete loss when filtration is carried out at a low pH. The most suitable pH for filtration appears to be in the range pH 7 to 8.Entities:
