Hydrogen bonding by the sulphydryl group of glutathione.

M A Rosei.

Abstract

The occurrence of hydrogen bond in the sulphydryl group of glutathione was investigated by means of Raman Spectroscopy. Evidence is obtained that SH group is free and H-bonding does not occur.
