Abstract
Two compounds isolated from the alcoholic extract of the roots of Aristolochia indica Linn were tested on day 6 pregnant mice. One of the compounds, p-coumaric acid showed 100% interceptive activity at the single oral dose of 50 mg/kg of body weight. The antifertility efficacy of these two compounds is discussed.Entities:
