Abstract
Revascularization of the penis for erectile disability was performed in 10 patients in whom arterial obstruction had been documented. Inferior epigastric artery anastomosis to the corpus cavernosum was not successful, although bypass grafts from the femoral artery to the corpus cavernosum have helped restore potency in 4 of 6 patients. Complications included embolus to the leg, postoperative hemorrhage, and three small hematomas. This procedure can be considered a clinical experiment and would call for more study to assess its ultimate value.Entities:
